The Universe is a pretty big place
It is full of planets and stars
There are nine planets that we know of
Such as Jupiter Earth and Mars

It was once packed all together
In one small lump
Then it spread out far and wide
In a way everything is connected
Like our moon controls the tide

Our star is called the Sun
It is completely boiling hot
But our coldest planet Neptune
Certainly is not

There are many wonders in our solar system alone
Like saturns almost magical rings and Jupiters big red storm
Or Pluto and Neptunes orbit paths
Perhaps Venus which is quite warm

Uranus' ring is different
And different it will stay
With its family of other planets
Inside the Milky-way

To travel through space would be lots of fun
I wish I could see inside the Sun
I would love to one day travel through space
Zooming around from place to place
